Oracle EFTLink Integration

Oracle is a provider of point-of-sale (POS) software such as Xstore and Retail-J. EFTLink is an Oracle component used to connect payment terminals to Oracle POS software.
The Oracle EFTLink enables payment terminals to connect to Oracle POS systems. This provides a seamless shopping experience for customers, a great operator experience, and seamless reconciliation.
Architecture Overview
The diagram below shows a general overview of the architecture, which includes these components:
  • Oracle POS: An EFTLink-compatible point-of-sale system from Oracle such as Xstore.
  • EFTLink: Oracle's component to connect point-of-sale system to payment terminals.
  • Cybersource Core: The EFTLink Module that connects EFTLink to the PayServer.
  • PayServer: Component (Windows Service) that manages the connectivity to the card reader and the Gateway
  • Card Reader: Any card reader (payment terminal) that is supported by the PayServer.
  • Cybersource Gateway: Payment Processing Gateway Terminal Management System.

Prerequisites
To run this integration, you must run:
  • Oracle EFTLink 15 and above
  • JDK 1.7 and above
The POS versions that has been tested is :
  • Oracle Xstore 16.0.0.1
