Ethernet connectivity requires configuring the TCP/IP correctly and assigning a listen
port. If you need help, consult with your network administrator about configuring a terminal
for your network.
Follow these steps to configure the Ethernet connection:
Press the green
O
(Confirm) key and the

key at the same time.
When prompted, enter your password and press the green
O
(Confirm) key. The default password is
12345678
. Change the default
password after you complete the configuration of your internet connection.
On the Engineering menu screen, tap
Comms Setup
.
On the Comms Setup screen, tap
Comm Type
.
On the Choose comm screen, tap
TCPIP/eth
.
On the Comms Setup screen, tap
TCP/IP Setup
.
On the TCP/IP Setup screen, tap
Server/Client Mode.
On the TCP Mode screen, tap
TCP Server
.
On the TCP/IP Setup screen, tap
Listen Device
On the Select Interface screen, tap
eth0
.
On the Comms Setup screen, tap
TCP/IP Setup
.
On the TCP/IP Setup screen, tap
Listen Port.
On the Listen Port screen, enter
16107
and press the
green
O
(Confirm) key.
Return to the Engineering menu screen by pressing the red
X
(Cancel) key several times. If your Ethernet is correctly enabled,
the
<…>
icon appear in the top, left corner of the terminal
screen.
