Configuring Ethernet Connectivity

Ethernet connectivity requires configuring the TCP/IP correctly and assigning a listen port. If you need help, consult with your network administrator about configuring a terminal for your network.
Follow these steps to configure the Ethernet connection: 
  1. Press the green 
    O
    (Confirm) key and the
    1
     key at the same time. 
  2. When prompted, enter your password and press the green 
    (Confirm) key. The default password is 
    12345678
    . Change the default password after you complete the configuration of your internet connection.
  3. On the Engineering menu screen, tap 
    Comms Setup
  4. On the Comms Setup screen, tap 
    Comm Type
  5. On the Choose comm screen, tap 
    TCPIP/eth
    .
  6. On the Comms Setup screen, tap 
    TCP/IP Setup
    .
  7. On the TCP/IP Setup screen, tap 
    Server/Client Mode.
  8. On the TCP Mode screen, tap 
    TCP Server
    .
  9. On the TCP/IP Setup screen, tap 
    Listen Device
  10. On the Select Interface screen, tap 
    eth0
    .
  11. On the Comms Setup screen, tap 
    TCP/IP Setup
  12. On the TCP/IP Setup screen, tap 
    Listen Port.
  13. On the Listen Port screen, enter 
    16107
    and press the green 
    O
    (Confirm) key.
  14. Return to the Engineering menu screen by pressing the red 
    X
    (Cancel) key several times. If your Ethernet is correctly enabled, the

    icon appear in the top, left corner of the terminal screen.
