PayButton integration overview

The Payworks PayButton makes the integration of card acceptance into your app insanely easy!

Provide the amount you want to charge and the merchant who should receive the payment. That's it!

The Payworks PayButton will show a ready-made view that guides the merchant through the payment process and shows a summary in the end. The merchant can then send the shopper a ready-made email receipt. If required, it also collects an electronic signature from the shopper. Here are some examples PayButton views:

In order to get started, you first need to create an account in the Test Gateway Manager, a web portal that allows you to have an overview of your application, including transactions, merchants and card readers.

For testing with a real card reader, you can also order a Developer Kit.

These are the steps you need to take in order to start processing live transactions:

1	Integrate the PayButton Integrate the PayButton into your app.

2	Optional: Extra Features and Backend Integration Additional features give you more control over payment-associated activities: Add Pre-Authorizations and Captures, if your merchants' payment workflows require it. Add transaction refund functionality. Create custom receipts for your merchants. You can access and control payments directly from the backend via our API: Use WebHooks to receive transaction event notifications on your backend. Register and query transactions. Issue refunds and custom receipts.

3	Go Live In preparation to go live, you can make sure your application behaves as expected by: Using a Developer Kit to see how everything works with a real card reader. Submitting your app for testing. Doing these last steps before going live. With approval from your account manager, you can start processing live transactions.
