How do I add a card reader to a merchant in Gateway Manager?

You can only add (attach) a card reader to a merchant if the reader has been previously added to your app. To have readers added to your app, Contact Customer Support.
IMPORTANT:
If you want to exchange a reader already attached to a merchant, you must first detach that reader before you attach a new one. This step ensures that the terminal ID remains unaffected.
Follow these steps to add a card reader to a merchant:
  1. Select the merchant and click “Attach card reader.”
  2. Choose the reader from the drop-down list. Look up the reader by entering its serial number. It will appear in a dropdown list.
  3. For the reader that you want to attach, click “Attach.” The merchant can now use this card reader. Note: If you choose a reader was attached to another merchant previously, that merchant will no longer be able to the reader.
