How do I connect the Miura reader to my phone?
The Bluetooth pairing is done in two steps. The first step
activates the pairing on the card reader and the second step
initiates the actual pairing from your phone.
Important: If you have an iOS 9.0.X device, please refer to
this
page.
On the card reader do the following:
- Start the card reader by pressing the power key and wait until the Bluetoothlogo appears in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Hold down the green [✔] key until the Bluetooth symbol in the upper left corner of the display starts to blink.
Switch over to your phone and do the following:
- In the Settings App, go to Bluetooth and make sure it’s turned on. In the Devices section, a device named“Miura” should appear.
- Tap on the device to initialize the pairing.
- Tap the Pair button of the alert that will appear soon.
On the card reader:
- Press the green [✔] key to confirm the pairing.
On your phone:
- Verify, that it says “Connected” right next to the device name in the Devices section.
