Does my mPOS solution need to support online PIN?

Depending on the country where you are deploying your solution, we will activate online PIN for you. You do not need to make any changes for supporting online PIN.

In an online PIN setup, the cardholder's PIN is encrypted on the card reader and validated online in a secure environment, instead of directly on the card reader.

In some countries (e.g. Germany) online PIN is required, while other countries (e.g. UK) do not support online PIN.
