The transaction was declined, what does this mean?

If a card is declined, this usually has one of the following reasons:
  1. The card type is not supported.
  2. The customer reached his card’s limit.
  3. The card expired.
  4. The customer has no money on his prepaid card.
  5. The transaction is deemed as too risky by your acquirer (e.g. the card is from an unauthorized country).
You can try again to charge the card.
If it still does not work, ask your customer to pay with another card.
