How do I refund a transaction in the payworks whitelabel app?

Please note: Depending on your acquirer, refunds are only possible for a certain amount of time.

To refund a transaction follow these steps:

  1. Select the icon in the top left corner of the app to open the app sidebar. You will see the last 3 transactions. 
  2. Select the transaction you want to refund in the transaction history. If you want to see more past transactions select “transaction history”. Scroll down to load more transactions. 
  3. Select the refund button on the bottom of the screen and confirm the refund by entering your password.
  4. After you have refunded the payment to your customer, you can send a receipt for the refund via email.
